As a product junkie, It is easy to lose track of products and their performance. Every now and again I give my forgotten products another chance to wow me. This weekend it was Dr. Bronner Castile Soap, which is all natural and sulfate free. It is highly concentrated yet gentle. It is readily available at any health food store or grocery store with a low price tag. This product should only be used about once a week; it can be drying if used in excess. It is very important to use a good conditioner to re-moisturizer the hair which is the same for all shampoos. This no-poo product (shampoo alternative) is infused with different essential oils to meet your different scalp needs. For example peppermint for dry scalp or rose to soothe scalp. Dr. Bronner’s is a all-n-one, so its multiple purpose and doubles as a body wash. The peppermint gives a cooling sensation which I love.

IC Fantasia Moisturizing Gel is a great investment for your hair arsenal. This product is alcohol free so it doesn’t dry the hair but still provides a firm hold for any style. There isn’t any flaky build up like other products. You don’t have to worry about any sticky feeling. This product assists in stretching out curls. This styling gel is able to compete with product such as Kinky Curly Curling Custard. And its a whole lot cheaper. Its about $5 where KCCC and Miss Jessie’s are $27 and $37. It can be found at Target and most beauty supply stores.
